I am an Atlanta-based software entrepreneur who creatively solves problems and inspires others with my solutions and visions. I see the big picture and formulate it for others to see. I thrive on ambiguity.
For better or worse, I am a generalist -- I am best at defining a problem and solving it. I am pretty good at implementing the ideas in software myself, but it is best when I leave the extremely detailed implementation and maintenance of the solution to specialists (where I change hats and play the role of mentor and guide for the rest of the rollout).
Others find me valuable because when I finish with a problem, I have created new ideas, systems, artifacts and jobs. The jobs part is important and a good measure of my success because it typically means that there is business value and money to be made off my ideas.
I hold MS and BS degrees in Information and Computer Science from Georgia Tech.
The absolute best way to reach me is my personal email address bjw@mindspring.com.
